I recently tried out the products below and I really like them. The Herbal Essences Naked Volume Shampoo and Conditioner smells really good and does provide volume that my hair desperately needs. I haven’t tried the other two products included in the 4 piece kit but I probably will soon.

The Coastal Scents Professional Camouflage Concealer Palette is something I found on Pinterest and wanted to try out because my attempts to contour with powder products haven’t been too successful. I really like the consistency of this concealer. It is not thick so you can apply as many thin layers as needed without it getting too cakey. Using my Elf Stippling Brush and my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush I can really blend the concealer colors into my skin so I don’t have harsh lines. To highlight under my eyes, down my nose, at my cupid’s bow, and the middle of my forehead, I used the first color (from left to right, top to bottom) and as a contour in the hollows of my checks, around my hair line, down the sides of my nose, I used the eighth color.

I have been using the St. Ives Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash for a while and it is great for winter skin. The smell is not too intense and seems to moisturize while exfoliating.

My mom bought me the Naked Basics palate which I have been wanting since it was released a while back. It is a great neutral, natural, everyday mix of colors.

Now that I live in a place with extremely cold winters, I am constantly applying lotion. This Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer in Total Moisture is a great non greasy, quick drying lotion. Of course I still have to reapply lotion to my hands throughout the day but this makes getting ready a lot easier because I don’t have to sit around waiting for it to dry before I get dressed.

  1. I’m going to try the shampoo and conditioner – the conditioner I’ve used for years (John Freida Brilliant Brunette) recently changed their formula and now it’s almost impossible to completely rinse out of my hair. I’m SO MAD about it!!!

Also, if you put Aquaphor on your hands at night, it really helps! It’s a little too thick to use during the day, but I’ve found applying it at night really helps with the dryness overall!
